Me and my guild mates are starting to learn Tway for our guild. Besides everyone being pro at their area I am learning T1 and I cannot get the run right. I don't know which build is better; E/Me or E/R (I can be either). I have the skills, some pcons and four years of playing guild wars. Can I get someone who knows T1 to help me out (post here or IG perhaps)?

I have trouble with the skeles, not dealing enough dmg with silver and overall failness. haha xD. Any help is appreciated!

Take on 1 or 2 groups at the time- smites come in random groups of 3-5 so taking on more then 2 groups is possible if coldfire vs smite ratio is right.
For the skellies, its important not to kill them if you have smites in your agro.they will "steal" sliver targets and skele is going to get you killed. If youre having troubble killing the skele just run off. E/me is faster but requires a speedboost from a pcon to break agro. Its much faster then e/r at taking caster groups out.
For the route and all the little tricks, id suggest you going on youtube and watch the vids.

Do you happen to know the e/r build and attributes for T1? I only have EBSoH as any EotN skill, it would be great if I can use a build without using too many EotN skills (I don't want to spend my time grinding up rep ranks)

hum you seem like someone in our guild. we just starting learning UW this week and Fow next week.

also as i told him. take your time. if your just learning no need to do it in 1 con set. rather take your time and learn it till the guild gets better. And might as well farm the smites =]

on a side note. i'm running emo and proably learn T1 and ele/x to know the run and farm smites.

I'm trying to learn it too.

The hardest part is figuring out where the skeletons patrol and not getting killed by them while you're dealing with the smites. I've wasted like 90k worth of consets figuring out how to do it.

I think the hardest part is the first skeleton, the one that patrols the big open area right outside the labyrinth. Kill him first, before trying to kill any smites. He can sneak up and kill you very easily. I always die at that one if I die.

The ranger build seems easier to use, because it gives you a natural speed boost and more energy. But the mesmer build (with ancestors visage and wastrel's worry/demise) has a lot more killing power. But it's a bit more difficult to use from what I've seen. I'm using a ranger build.

The last two are worthless against smites, but good for finishing off coldfires and killing skeletons as fast as possible.

You should be able to kill the smites and skeletons pretty easily with just sliver armor. Just make sure you have at least two groups of coldfires following you, and only fight one group of smites at a time. If you try to fight more than one, you might not do enough damage, because of the way that sliver armor works. You want to have lots of coldfire aggro and only a few smites, or one skeleton. Because when you have more enemies attacking you, sliver armor gets more powerful.

Also, you might want to increase your Ebon Vanguard rank. That will add a lot of damage, and it's not hard at all to get it to 5 or 6. Just play though EOTN and turn in the book. Takes like 6 hours to do the whole thing.

I usually wait for 1 to patrol back and run past him. I run down to where 2 patrols...at this time it should be going up the hill. Kill the smites and wait for it to come back and kill it. Then I usually kill the smites by the dryders and then wait for skele 3 to patrol down and kill it. After popping the reaper I go on to skele 4's area and kill the smites then it. Then back to skele 1 and smites in that area. I only kill skele 5 if I have plenty of time to farm.

haha . If you are thanks for the advice, I guess I just want to be proficient too fast. I'll get stuff for emo but probably after I learn one of the T2-4 builds. We sc dungeons all the time, why not use sins right? xD. If you aren't daggers then thanks anyway. (Thenameless Wonder was my main before my assassin)

thanks Aly. I posted this after my first wastes run. I kinda ran in and tried to get lots of aggro but I ended up getting bb by the smites and I couldn't kill with silver like i saw in a video. Noob stuff there xD thank you for your great feeback!!

Essence- thanks! I think I know where your going with that. I had one successful run today at about 30some minutes. By the way, how long does it normally take for you to clear 1-3? And 1-4? 1-5? Much appreciated!

Snow is awesome! He showed me a few tricks and only ran a few times with him. I wish he was in our guild but we annoy him to death. I'm glad you share your insight with us and the community.

Any who grads on the T1. Your going to post a video right? You never sease to amaze me. I'll work on my ele and be a back up for T1. You will have to show me. In the mean time we did a Fow in ally and finished it! We might go that route. This UW is to much for us.

Yeah this is daggers. I rather be called chess but joined as daggers. No problem. I'm still the same guy. Plus Your guild tag didn't say hero on the left hand side of you status. So I wasn't sure.
